![]() ![]() Jeffrey and Ali Peterson give a performance with all the feels and emotions that this story has. Second chances are something to strive for and this book proves how love will help conquer all. I also love how Seabrook involves Theo's mom, giving the feeling of a complete family as well as involving Theo's best friend(hope he gets a book too!). The phrase is typically used to describe pop culture but I think it applies well enough to children’s books. To illustrate her point she called this “casual diversity”, a term I’d hitherto been unfamiliar with. ![]() She’d been talking with her friends and they decided that what they’d really like would be a list of children’s books in which diversity is just a part of everyday life.
